Navruz is a time of renewal, light, and inner strength. It was especially symbolic to celebrate it among women who not only build businesses but also shape a new reality — bold, resilient, and inspiring.

On March 28, in Tashkent, the Navruz festival took place at the picturesque Lago Park, organized by the International Association of Women Entrepreneurs Tadbirkor Ayol. The event brought together more than 300 guests — SME (small and medium-sized business) leaders and representatives of the creative industries from across the country. Everyone gathered to celebrate spring and new opportunities for women’s entrepreneurship.

The event was held with the support of general sponsors — Koç Construction and Orient Finans Bank, Invento Uzbek International School — and silver sponsors — Legend, Sowell Prohair, LIV Hospital, New Way. HILL UZBEKISTAN served as the main media partner of the event.

Additional support was provided by Barbican, Chateau Hamkor, Eli Kids, Romanova Cakes, Promassage, Di.Mockingbird, Liht House, World With You, Lilly Plau, and Talents Project — and media companies — AIKAS GROUP, BI Media, Last Media.

The celebration commenced with the resonant sounds of karnays and surnays. Guests were welcomed by curated photo zones, gazebos featuring mehendi artists and makeup professionals, as well as treats provided by partners. The highlight of the event was the ceremonial stirring of sumalak — an ancient spring delicacy — alongside a festive dastarkhan adorned with traditional national dishes.

The opening remarks were delivered by Dilyafruz Tashmukhamedova, Chairwoman of the Tashkent City Branch of the association, who emphasized the importance of supporting women in the business environment. For more than 30 years, Tadbirkor Ayol has remained committed to these principles, uniting over 170,000 women entrepreneurs.

Welcoming and inspiring speeches by the ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Indonesia underscored the international stature of the festival. The event, dedicated to Navruz as a symbol of mutual support and creation, brought together representatives of different countries, businesses, traditions, and cultures.

The association places special emphasis on charity and support for children. During the event, particular attention was given to the importance of supporting the Kapalak Bolalar Foundation and people with disabilities — for whom an inclusive environment was created at the festival, along with the collection of donations.

The program featured national dances and performances by singers Laliddin Khalmatov and Ulugbek Mavlyanov. Guests enjoyed the collections of Uzbek designers at the Spring Fashion Show. In support of artisans, a handicraft fair was organized. The festival also included a "Development Zone" with mini-sessions led by leading psychologists.

A particularly exciting moment of the evening was the prize draw ceremony from partners. Orient Finans Bank presented the winners with laptops, Koç Construction — with office organisers, while the international school Invento Uzbek International School awarded ten educational certificates. The media partner HILL UZBEKISTAN presented certificates to the premium clinic Dr. Vaisov. Prizes from the silver sponsor LIV Hospital, certificates from the premium salon Impress Beauty, and beauty boxes from the Sowell brand also found their lucky winners. The festival concluded with an open program featuring national dances, a DJ set, and refreshments from partners.

As Coco Chanel once said, "Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself". And perhaps this is where the true strength of women lies. May this Navruz become a point of growth and new opportunities for every woman. May every woman feel confident that she is capable of more than she imagines.

The editorial team of HILL UZBEKISTAN expresses its gratitude to the Tadbirkor Ayol Association for their trust and partnership. It is a great honor for us to be part of this community and to support strong and creative women.
