In December 2023, Holiday Inn Tashkent City, an IHG franchise, opened its doors in the heart of Tashkent, making an immediate impact on the capital's hospitality scene. With a focus on comfort, contemporary design, and exemplary service, the hotel caters seamlessly to both business travelers and tourists.

A VISIONARY GENERAL MANAGER

At the helm of Holiday Inn Tashkent City is General Manager Bakhram Ehamberdiev, a seasoned professional with a deep-rooted career in hospitality. Ehamberdiev's path began as an administrative assistant at a construction company involved in designing the Dedeman Hotel in Tashkent. “I saw potential in the hospitality business and decided to pursue it,” he reflects. Over time, his roles expanded, including positions as procurement manager at Rixos (Ukraine, Kazakhstan) and operations director at various hotels in Russia. In 2011, he pursued an MBA in hospitality management at IMI University in Lucerne, Switzerland — a transformative experience that prepared him to lead. Ehamberdiev's philosophy is clear: guest satisfaction begins with a happy, motivated team.

COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY

Holiday Inn Tashkent City actively integrates sustainability practices through the Green Engage program, reducing its environmental footprint with energy-efficient equipment, the elimination of single-use plastics, and waste-sorting initiatives. In lieu of disposable amenities, guest rooms are stocked with eco-friendly, reusable containers.

EMBRACING INNOVATION

The hotel is also looking to the future of hospitality, exploring smart home technologies and digital concierge services. Holiday Inn Tashkent City intends to align with evolving guest expectations by incorporating high-tech solutions and providing personalized service, reinforcing its role as a forward-thinking player in Uzbekistan's hospitality sector.

GUEST SATISFACTION

The hotel prioritizes guest feedback, gathering insights both in person and through online platforms like TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Expedia, and Ctrip. After their stay, guests are invited to complete surveys, allowing the hotel to enhance service quality and quickly address any areas for improvement.

FUTURE GROWTH

Looking ahead, Holiday Inn Tashkent City plans to expand within the next five years, with new hotels in the mid-range and budget segments. “We see significant growth potential in Uzbekistan and are committed to offering our clients not only comfort but also competitive prices,” notes the general manager.
